How to Store Your Fresh Truffles
Storing Your Fresh Black Winter Truffles
Congratulations on your purchase of our fresh black winter truffles, lovingly grown beneath French oak trees in the beautiful Daylesford region of Victoria, Australia. We’re excited for you to experience the exceptional aroma and flavour in your culinary creations. Please follow these simple guidelines to maintain their quality and freshness:
Preparing Your Truffles (Same-Day Use)
If you plan to cook your truffles the day of purchase, simply keep them in the jar or container provided, at room temperature, and away from direct sunlight.
Storing Your Truffles (Up to 1 Week)
To enjoy the freshest taste and aroma, we recommend consuming your truffles within a few days of purchase; however, they can remain fresh for up to one week if stored correctly.
Place the truffles in an airtight glass or plastic container and store them in the crisper drawer of your refrigerator.
Wrap your truffles gently in a dry paper towel or place them on a layer of dry rice inside the container to absorb moisture and preserve their unique aroma.
Replace the paper towel or rice each day, keeping the container clean, dry, and free of moisture.
Following these steps will ensure your truffles maintain their exceptional aroma and rich flavour for your memorable dishes.
Enjoy your truffle experience!
