Rustic Homemade Truffle Aioli
If you have or can get your hands on some great Truffle Oil this is a wonderful way to create a batch of delicious rustic Truffle Aioli to use on your chips, steak, mashed potatoes, with fish, as a dip, on burgers and so much more. It takes 5 minutes to make and is delicious.
Ingredients
Mayonnaise (1/2 cup)
Sour Cream (1/2 cup)
Truffle Oil (1 teaspoon or 1 tablespoon depending how intense you want the flaovur)
Minced Garlic (1 teaspoon)
White or Black Pepper (½ teaspoon)
Lemon Juice (1 teaspoon)
Steps
1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl or jug and mix with a spoon until smooth.
2. Start with 1 teaspoon of Truffle Oil. For a stronger flavor, add more Truffle Oil.
Note: You can substitute the water with white, red, or port wine.
Storage
Store in a jar with a lid or airtight container for 3 – 5 days in the fridge
