Truffle Vinaigrette for Zesty Salads
This recipe is for a lovely French inspired vinaigrette, perfect for dressing up your salads! Our organic truffle oil is such a decadent delicious pantry item that can bring many dishes to life including this Truffle Vinaigrette, perfect for adding some zest to your salads.
Ingredients
- Olive Oil (5 tablespoons)
- White Wine Vinegar (4 tablespoons)
- Black Truffle Oil (1 tablespoon)
- Honey (dash of your favourite runny honey or truffle honey)
- Mustard (dash of your favourite mustard - mild, Dijon etc)
*Note: this is to dress a large bowl of salad.
Steps for cooking
1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl or jug with a whisk until blended nicely.
2. Store in a glass jar or bottle in the fridge, shake before using.
Test the dressing as you make it and adjust as you like. More white wine vinegar or less, increase the mustard, use more truffle oil and less olive oil if you want a stronger truffle taste or more honey for a sweeter dressing. Find the right mix for you.
Serve with a leafy salad, drizzle over asparagus or your favourite vegetables and salads.
